Food Services

Our Food Service staff serves nutritious and great-tasting meals that support and promote a healthy lifestyle. They provide outstanding service and high quality “kid-friendly” meals that meet or exceed the latest federal and state requirements.

The Wellspring School’s menus are designed to ensure that students receive a balanced meal, consisting of foods from all major food groups in the right proportions to meet caloric and other nutrient needs. Our meal plans are designed to limit sodium to meet the new standards set by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for school meals.

Our meal patterns and nutrition standards ensure that meals provide age-appropriate calorie levels as authorized by the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). School meals are planned based on 4-grade groups (Pre-K, K-5, 6-8, and 9-12) that naturally align with children’s nutritional needs for growth and health.
